As a writer, it is important to evolve, and not just learn from the mistakes but also improvise, enhance, and continually make changes, to become a competent writer. Every time I write something new, I am adding it to my style, and with every new style I learn, I am becoming clearer on how to get concise and impactful, without being too explicit and forceful. The process of brainstorming and researching is a good exercise for the brain and avoiding stagnation or blockage in thinking. Peer reviews are a good way of getting substantive feedback and positive criticism of writing, and this does a good job of getting better at writing and comprehending. I would suggest that consider peer reviews as a good revision from the perspectives of others before giving the work a final go, and not be intimidated by it or shamed because of the criticism, as learning is a continuous process and if anyone is willing to offer help, then one should accept it happily.
